Mentored throughout her career by Dr. Mata, Dr. Porteous, Dr. O’Neill and other DC’s, she combines extensive industry experience with a strong foundation in legal, regulatory, and healthcare education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies and is currently attending law school, bringing valuable legal insight to the courses she develops and teaches.

A Certified Medical Coder and Biller and an American Red Cross CPR/BLS Instructor, she teaches ethics and law, ethical coding and billing, compliance, risk management, and CPR/BLS certification. Her passion is equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to practice ethically, remain compliant, and provide exceptional patient care.

As Executive Director, she continues to lead CCEUnits with a focus on educational excellence, innovation, and supporting chiropractors throughout every stage of their professional careers.

Brian J. Porteous, D.C., F.P.A.C.

Dr. Porteous is a respected leader in the chiropractic profession with decades of clinical experience, regulatory expertise, and professional education. A California State Board-approved continuing education instructor for more than 18 years, he has helped educate chiropractors on ethics, documentation, compliance, and clinical best practices.

An advocate for chiropractic and integrative healthcare, Dr. Porteous has been a featured speaker at professional seminars and has interviewed leaders in chiropractic philosophy, alternative medicine, and holistic health. As a Qualified Medical Evaluator (Q.M.E.), he has also served as a trusted resource for chiropractors seeking guidance on professional standards, regulatory compliance, and licensing matters.

As one of CCEUnits’ expert instructors, Dr. Porteous is committed to sharing practical knowledge that helps chiropractors strengthen their practices and deliver exceptional patient care.

Today, Dr. Porteous enjoys a well-earned retirement and resides with his wife, Laurie Porteous, while continuing to support and inspire the chiropractic profession through education.

John Reardon, DC., Esq.

John Reardon brings a unique combination of clinical and legal expertise to the CCEUnits faculty. A retired chiropractor with more than 20 years of clinical experience, he offers a comprehensive understanding of patient care, documentation, professional standards, and the legal issues that impact today’s healthcare providers.

As a California State Board-approved continuing education instructor for more than six years, John has educated chiropractors on ethics, documentation, biomechanics, and risk management. His courses emphasize practical application, sound clinical reasoning, and strategies that support quality patient care while promoting professional compliance.

Drawing on both his chiropractic and legal backgrounds, John provides valuable insight into proper biomechanics, injury evaluation, documentation, and the intersection of healthcare and the law. His engaging, real-world approach helps practitioners strengthen their clinical knowledge and confidently navigate the professional responsibilities of modern practice.

Brad Glowaki, DC.

Dr. Brad Glowaki is an internationally recognized chiropractic leader, educator, entrepreneur, and passionate speaker who has inspired chiropractors around the world through his dynamic presentations and unwavering dedication to the profession. Respected for his ability to motivate and educate, he has become one of chiropractic’s most influential voices.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he was a consistent Dean’s List honoree, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
