California Chiropractic CEU Requirements

California - "California State Board Examiners DC License Renewal Requirements consist of 24 hours that must be completed per year by the end of the licensee’s birthday month. 12 hours of Continuing Education may be taken online each year."

IMPORTANT NOTICE;

The State of California will not allow and it is illegal for anyone to practice with out a license in an Active Status. "PLEASE COMPLETE CEU AND PAY BOARD FEES ON TIME

  • California Continuing Education Requires 24 CEU's to be completed before the end of your birth month.
  • All 24 can be Complete in Classroom/Live or 12 Hours Live plus 12 Hours Distance Learning.

(NOT ALL 24 HRS CAN BE TAKEN DISTANCE LEARNING) * Call for details or visit State Board Website for rules and exclusion's if apply to you.

  • Some Courses are eligible for repetition during the same licensure year.
  • Approved Documentation/Certification of In Class Attendance and Distance Learning Completion.

6 HOURS REQUIRED COLUM/SUBJECT:

  • 6 Hours must be from Colum A. (ReferenceState Board Link bellow)
  • 2 Hours of Colum A must be Ethics and Law it is required (can be completed In class or Distance learning)
  • 4 Hours can be completed by taking more Ethics or mixture Technique, History Exam. and Proc. and Proper and Ethical Billing and Coding. NOTE: Technique is not a required Subject yet it is recommended.

After Participants complete our Course's they will be able to

  • HISTORY TAKING & PHYSICAL EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
  • DIAGNOSTIC TESTING PROCEDURES (RADIOLOGY & MRI)
  • CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTIVE & MANIPULATION TECHNIQUES
  • PAIN MANAGEMENT THEORY
  • PHYSIOTHERAPY
  • MUA (MANIPULATION UNDER ANESTHESIA)
  • Chiropractic Continuing Education
  • SPECIAL POPULATION CARE:(GERIATRIC, PEDIATRIC, ATHLETES)
  • PROPER AND ETHICAL BILLING AND CODING
  • ETHICS AND LAW
  • PHARMACOLOGY
  • CPR (2 HOURS MAX ANNUALLY)
  • PROBATIONARY LICENSES (4 HOURS MAX ANNUALLY)
  • WELLNESS (PREVENTION, HEALTH MAINTENANCE)
  • REHABILITATION
  • PUBLIC HEALTH
