CCEUnits Participant Grievance Procedures
CCEUnits is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and educational learning environment. Every participant has the right to raise questions, concerns, complaints, or grievances regarding our programs, instructors, staff, services, or policies without fear of retaliation.
The following procedures are intended to ensure that every concern is handled fairly, promptly, and confidentially.
Grievance Process
- Participants are encouraged to discuss any concern directly with a CCEUnits staff member whenever possible, as many issues can be resolved quickly through informal communication.
- If the concern cannot be resolved informally, participants may submit a written grievance by email or other written communication describing the issue and any supporting information.
- Upon receipt of a grievance, CCEUnits will acknowledge receipt and begin reviewing the matter in a timely manner.
- The Executive Director, or a designated representative, will investigate the complaint, communicate with the participant when additional information is needed, and attempt to resolve the matter fairly.
- Participants may continue to attend seminars or receive services while a grievance is under review whenever appropriate. CCEUnits strictly prohibits retaliation against any participant who files a complaint in good faith.
- If additional review is necessary, the Executive Director will make a final determination after considering all relevant information.
- A written response outlining the findings and any corrective action, if applicable, will be provided to the participant.
- If the grievance identifies deficiencies in CCEUnits policies, procedures, instructional practices, or administrative operations, appropriate corrective measures will be implemented to improve future services.
- All grievance records and supporting documentation will be maintained in a secure and confidential manner in accordance with applicable laws and CCEUnits record retention policies.
